To Groups and School Groups interested in raising funds through raffles or draws Raising money to facilitate a group trip is always a challenge. The Barrhead Composite High School (see attached letter) has been very successful raising funds through raffles over the past three years. Skis Please, Jasper Adventure Centre and Jasper Raft Tours has been strongly supporting their program and we are very interested in working with other groups. Asking for prizes can be a daunting experience so we are trying to ease the situation and be a major contributor to your prizes. Through us, a ski rental shop, a rafting company and a tour company, we can offer prizes throughout the year. Through Jasper Raft Tours, we can offer a raft trip for 6 persons, (approx value $282); through Jasper Adventure Centre, we have a number of tours operating throughout the year, but the one of most interest is the Maligne Canyon Icewalk for 4 persons (approx value $160); and finally Skis Please offers a 20% discount on ski or snowboard rentals (in the past, Skis Please Save 20% off Ski or Snowboard rentals, Reserve Ahead 1-800-565-7547 expires 04/05 season, has been stamped on the back of each ticket) which can save the person up to $6. If this 20% savings is used for an incentive when selling tickets (the seller suggests the 20% savings on rentals meaning up to $6 for purchasing a ticket for a dollar with each sale) everyone wins. Everyone has a loonie in their pocket, and if they come skiing, they save money on rentals and we at Skis Please will hopefully be providing the ticket purchaser with ski rentals and your group with rental equipment. Skis Please is known for it’s friendly efficient service. We go the extra mile for all our clients. With group rentals we have an equipment reservation form, (see below- in PFD format which can be filled out by hand or on an excel spreadsheet which can be filled in on the computer and emailed or faxed back to us), that if filled out with accurate information, can really speed up the service. We will have all the equipment set-up before the group arrives, the rental equipment is labeled with each individuals name so that when the group comes in, the equipment is fitted and out the door very efficiently. We re-open the shop in the evening hours if your group arrives later in the evening or earlier in the morning, so that everyone can get the most out of their ski day.
