Jasper's Ultimate Athabasca Valley Adventure |

Join the Jasper Adventure Centre on a full day adventure that will take you on the Athabasca River and up Morro Peak, over looking the Athabasca Valley. This is the ultimate way to experience Jasper National Park. Your professional guides are accredited canoe guides, interpreters, and active members of the Association of Canadian Mountain Guides. They will keep you safe and provide you with local knowledge of the surrounding area.
Your day begins at 7:30 am; The Jasper Adventure Centre will pick you up and transport you to the Sixth Bridge of the Maligne Canyon where you will begin your tranquil journey, traveling 12 km down the Athabasca River. Your guide will paddle with you through one of the most inspiring sections of the Athabasca River, offering magnificent views of the Front and Main Ranges and traveling through wildlife intensive areas. Upon reaching your pull out you will be guided up Morro Peak and ascend approximately 700 meters (2100 ft) to a broad summit with expansive views of the route you have covered that day. After a minimum of 30 minutes at the summit, you will be guided down the mountain to our van that waits to transport you back to Jasper.
Experience is not necessary for this trip. Guest are expected to be in reasonable physical shape, able to hike for five hours and paddle for two. Guests are recommended to bring suitable footwear for hiking, rain/wind jacket, hat, sunglasses, a warm sweater, a camera, and water. Lunch and all essential paddling equipment are provided. People with special dietary needs are required to notify the Jasper Adventure Centre at the time of booking. Please allow 9 hours for this full day adventure. The Ultimate Athabasca Adventure operates two days a week, Wednesday and Saturday. A minimum of three adult participants are required to operate.
