the mountain area we call home, winter can begin much earlier and
hang around well into April. Generally, the best winter opportunities
are from the last week of January to the middle to end of March. |

Maligne Canyon

Join us on a fascinating tour of the deepest canyon in Jasper National
Park. You actually walk on the frozen floor of the canyon, stopping
for photos of the Queen of Maligne and Angel Icefalls. It's a whole
different world down there, especially in the moonlight! Definitely
a unique Jasper experience.

Join this historical railroad tour, departing Jasper Sundays, Wednesdays and Fridays. Ride the rails over the Yellowhead Pass, the border between Alberta and British Columbia. Follow the Fraser River past the highest mountain in the Canadian Rockies, Mount Robson, and continue to the quaint village of Dunster where we will meet you with a van. This can be an excellent tour for seeing moose, eagles, deer, elk and coyotes.
