Jasper Train Tour (Dunster Station)

Take time to go beyond Jasper National Park and soak up the views of the Canadian Rockies on this unique combination of sightseeing tours by both train and luxury mini-bus.  First, Via Rail’s Skeena train will transport you along the banks of the Fraser River into Beautiful British Columbia’s Robson Valley. Upon arrival at the Dunster B.C. train station (approximately 3 hours on board the train), you will be greeted by your guide and vehicle for the return portion of your journey to Jasper. Travelling the Yellowhead highway back to Jasper involves multiple stops such as Rearguard Falls, famous for being the easternmost waterfall which the salmon ascend during their journey from the Pacific Ocean to their spawning grounds; and Mount Robson, the tallest mountain in the Canadian Rockies at 3954 metres (12,970 feet). Each stop offers incredible photo opportunities plus a chance to get some fascinating information from your guide about the rich history, geology, and ecology of the region.

In Summer or Winter, do not miss this unique Train Journey, it will be the highlight of your next trip to Jasper!
